My experience at the Aveda Institute was great! The place itself is so relaxed, so beautifully coordinated. The people there were extremely helpful and patient. It must have taken a lot of patience to do three hairstyles in one afternoon and my stylist couldn’t have done a better job. She was so supportive of my preferences and all the hairstyles she did were awesome; I liked them all so much!
I absolutely loved my makeup, too. It looked very natural, but it really made a difference and that’s what I was looking forward to. I actually felt like a true princess getting the full treatment.
I learned a cool new trick to do with my hair-straightener to use it as a curling iron, so I’m very excited to try that now! It was nice to have my makeup done while my hair was being done at the same time, and it felt truly amazing! In the beginning, I just fell in love with the first hairstyle, and I was sure I wanted that one, but then when we went for the last hairstyle, I was stuck.
I liked the second hairstyle, but I felt like it was a bit too grown-up for me and the other two were more my style. I loved the first and third hairstyle so much, I’ll be super happy if either those two get chosen.
I had already chosen three hairstyles in advance that I wanted to try out, and the hairstylist was using the photos I brought, but I loved that she just went her own way with it and made it so much better than what I had originally wanted.
I loved the vibe of the institute itself and the people that work there. I really hope to attend school there in the fall because I have been looking into the cosmetology program, so after visiting I felt great. I have a feeling I would fit right in there, so I’m very excited to start my application process.
