ELLIE SAYS
“When it comes to studying for finals, listening to music keeps me motivated and minimizes the stress of memorizing an endless stack of vocabulary words. On the other hand, it’s difficult for me to focus when the music is loud or has a heavy beat. My taste in music is very eclectic and includes anything from the oldies to world music. When I study for finals, I look for upbeat music that uses mellow instruments like acoustic guitars and ukuleles.”
