Full (edited) essay below:

I believe I deserve to be your PROMathon Queen because I’m Candis! Candis means being nice, beautiful, intelligent, talented and, at this point, TOTALLY unprepared for prom.

I moved a month ago from the inner city to my new school in Chicago’s suburbs, left my old school as a junior, and arrived at RC as a senior due to my extra credits! Awesome deal considering I graduate in a mere four months. Not so awesome considering I have to prepare to graduate, go to luncheon and prom an entire year early on a small budget!

I’m an online radio host, I’m currently first French horn in symphonic band, I participate in a first robotics team for NASA, and I’m the lucky early grad girl. I’d LOVE to add being PROMathon Queen to the list of cool things I’ve done! I want to go to college for a doctorate in astrophysics, and I think I’m well on my way to making that happen.

I live my life awesomely, I get a high out of life, and I’m a happy girl. I have the most fansomeawetastical boyfriend in the universe and I would love to have him take me to prom with the most beautiful dress, earrings, shoes and everything else.

Thanks so much you guys! (Did I mention I’d be an awfully cute addition to your PROMathon queen list?:) )
