It’s easy to get bored during the summer so we figured we’d share some of the interesting things we’ve been reading lately to keep you entertained!
- An alligator attacked and severed the right arm of a 17-year-old Florida teen on Monday when he dove into a gator-infested river to cool off from hot weather.

CELEBS AND MOVIES
- Oscar-winning actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman will play Plutarch Heavensbee, the Head Gamemaker, in the second installment of “The Hunger Games” movie franchise, “Catching Fire.” The film is due out in November 2013.
