Austin Rivers, Michael Gilchrist and Chicago’s own Anthony Davis pose together before playing in the Jordan Brand Classic for the photo that appears as the cover of SLAM magazine this month.
Davis, who played for Persepectives-MSA, tells SLAM that before his growth spurt (he went from about 6-foot-2 to 6-10), going pro couldn’t be farther from reality:
“I always thought that the NBA had no chance. And Division I? That wasn’t me.”
