NOW THROUGH MARCH 1: METRA SAFETY POSTER CONTEST

Metra kicks-off its Fourth Annual Metra Safety Poster Contest and this year’s theme is “Make the Right Choice: Look, Listen and Live.” We welcome students to showcase their artistic talents in conveying the contest theme. Winners will be chosen in the spring and the following prizes will be awarded to one first-, second- and third-place winner in each grade K-12.

First Place: Notebook Computer

Second Place: $250 Cash Card

Third Place: $100 Cash Card

Not an artist? Enter the Second Annual Metra Safety Essay Contest. Safety essay participants are asked to express in 300 words or less why it’s important we all practice safe behavior near trains and railroad tracks. One first-place winner from each grade group – elementary school, middle school and high school – will be chosen and awarded a Notebook Computer.

Submit your entry today. The deadline for both contests is March 1, 2010. For all contest rules and guidelines, visit the contest Web site at www.metracontest.com and for exclusive news and announcements, become a fan of the Metra Contest Facebook page.

Coffee or tea?

Coffee. Black.
Coffee, but with all the fixings...
Tea. All the caffeine, way better for you.
If it has caffeine, I'll drink it.
Don't you know about all the chemicals in there?!
